Horizontal tanks

The tank consists of a body, two detachable pads, a deflector, float gauge. To heat bitumen, the tank is fitted with registers. Four load rings, a hatch, four stands for mounting maintenance areas are located on the body. For installing automation devices, the tank is fitted with cups with a flange pipe Du50. To reduce the bitumen residue at the end of the operation, the tank is fitted with an unheated nozzle providing bitumen intake from the bottom of the tank. The tank can be fitted with automation devices providing for 6 versions of ‘Bitumen tank automation’.

The tank consists of a body, enclosure, ladder, bracket. To control the bitumen level, the tank is fitted with a measuring float-type device. Registers for heat carrier delivery are installed inside the body. One of the registers has a vertical circuit connecting the upper and lower parts of the tank and providing safety discharge if there’s unmelted bitumen in the upper part of the tank. An access cover, bitumen return pipe, bitumen feed pipe, bitumen supply pipe, bitumen residue drain pipe, two heat carrier supply pipes, pipe for control and measuring instruments installation, cups for temperature sensors installation are located on the tank body. The pipe is used for bitumen return from the circulation circuit of the pump unit. An inspection hatch, a breather, a branch pipe for installing a device for max bitumen level control unit (for different versions of tank automation) are located on the roof of the tank. For transportation, the tank is equipped with supports and lugs. For loading-unloading and installation, four lugs are made on the tank body, and four lugs are on the roof. The tank can be fitted with automation devices providing for 5 versions of ‘Bitumen tank automation’.
